Daniel Fox

Family Law Attorney

Daniel is here to help you through what can be a very difficult time. A strong advocate for justice, he is always willing to go the extra mile, and his clients are his top priority. He sees his work as a beacon of stability and hope during an otherwise tumultuous time in his client's lives. He enjoys working with each individual to identify and establish goals, then he ensures those goals are met as quickly and efficiently as possible.

With more than 15 years of courtroom experience and advocacy, Daniel understands that navigating new and uncomfortable waters can be very stressful, and he hopes to alleviate much of that stress by shouldering it himself, expertly guiding clients every step of the way. Not only does he help his clients traverse uncharted and unfamiliar territory, but he does so in a way that helps them thrive when faced with adversity.

A natural leader in and out of the courtroom, Daniel helps his clients focus on the issues at hand — not on things that are out of their control. Understanding that each case is unique, Daniel is able to adapt his litigation style and skillset to best address the present needs of his clients. He holds professionalism in the highest regard and, passionately advocating on his client’s behalf, he works with all parties to achieve the best possible result.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Daniel graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications and business. In 2007, he graduated from the University of Miami School of Law. Before moving to Asheville in 2017, Daniel practiced law in Florida and in Texas.

In addition to family law, he is experienced in the areas of general liability defense, personal injury, construction, arson, fraud, premises liability, and trucking matters. He is comfortable both in and out of a courtroom and knows what needs to be done to achieve the best possible result for his clients.

When not fiercely advocating on behalf of his clients, Daniel enjoys sports, live music and the outdoors, as well as spending time with his wife, Amy, his three daughters, Savannah, Juliet and Scarlet, and his Newfoundland, Rutherford (the brave).
