Jim Siemens of Siemens Law Office, P.A. has represented people in Western North Carolina since 1994. Jim has represented Western North Carolinians in the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, all Federal Courts within the Western District of North Carolina, the Supreme Court of North Carolina, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and in most Superior and District Courts in Western North Carolina .

Jim is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Buncombe County Criminal Defense Association. Jim was certified by the North Carolina Supreme Court to mediate family law matters in 2003.

Jim graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1990 with a BA in English Literature. He completed his legal education at Tulane University Law School in New Orleans in 1993. While at Tulane, he served as an editor for the Tulane Environmental Law Journal and was a member of the Tulane Appellate Advocacy Clinic.

In 2004, Jim celebrates 10 years of practicing law for Western North Carolinians. It is also an honor that in 2004, Western North Carolinians have voted Jim the best lawyer in Western North Carolina in the Asheville Citizen Times annual readers poll.

Jim lives in Asheville with his wife Lara and step son Skyler and daughter Sophia.
